| UBH Assumes Behavioral Health Coverage | ||

Beginning January 1, 2003, United Behavioral Health ("UBH") will assume responsibility for providing behavioral health coverage for Maricopa County employees who are covered by either HealthSelect or CIGNA. UBH's covered benefits are approximately the same as previously provided through CIGNA's subsidiary, MCC. UBH also has a broad provider network. (See listing to the right.) UBH has agreed to a transition of care process that will permit employees and/or their dependents to stay with their current provider on a short-term, transitional, basis. UBH has also agreed to pursue contracts with current MCC providers. Behavioral health coverage is included in your health insurance premium. |
